About Avi I.T.

Avi I.T. works to create a realistic pathway for marginalized groups to pursue computer science.
By encouraging education in computer science among all members of the community, students and prospective employees of all backgrounds have the ability to apply themselves in this growing industry.

What we do:
  • Provide youth with no-cost computer science education (through our events and partnerships).
  • Provide youth with analytical and quantitative skills to build strong resumes and job readiness (by teaching coding and other technical skills).
  • Provide economic growth opportunities by allowing our students to work for us (fixing computers and developing software).
  • Support small businesses by providing them with digital marketing, software development, and technology repair at little to no cost.
  • Provide families in need with technology at no cost.
  • Support local job placement centers by offering working positions and aiding in education related to obtaining jobs in the computer science field.
  • Pursue Systemic Equality.
  • Alleviate the impact of racial discrimination in the computer science field.
  • Empower citizens to fight systemic racism (by organizing awareness events).
  • Alleviate the digital divide (by providing devices to those in need).
  • Encourage BIPOC and other minority groups to join the computer science field.
  • Provide devices to those in need wanting to pursue online careers.
  • Provide support, education, and job opportunities to persons of all backgrounds (especially neurodivergent and disabled persons).
  • Empower minorities to join the STEM field (by amplifying the stories of local minorities that work in STEM).
