We are excited to announce our newest support for patients and their families. When a child is ready to go home after their transplant, there are many new additional costs for families such as simple medical supplies. STAR Kids would like to help cover these basic medical costs through our STAR Kits. When a child leaves the hospital, they will be given a bag filled with items such as thermometers, pill crushers, syringes, and more. Each STAR Kit costs $20 and will make a lasting impact on their recipients.  

For every dollar raised up to $1,000 will be matched by a generous donor today! 

STAR Kids to continue our 19 year tradition of supporting Delaware’s transplant children and their families. Our goal is to build resources and platforms to educate and promote organ and tissue donation. We want to extend our reach even farther across Delaware through virtual events and outreach programing. STAR Kids will still continue to provide patients and their families with STAR Packs during their stay in the hospital. STAR Packs have been a long tradition of our organization that has brought smiles to many children.
