Camp Arrowhead has been changing lives for nearly 70 years. Perhaps you are one of them.

In 1954, the Diocese was gifted a western-themed riding and sailing camp on the Rehoboth Bay called Camp Arrowhead.  Sailing is in our bones.  Every camper gets the opportunity to sail on one of our Sunfish, Hobie waves, or Hobie 16's.  And our Sailing Pathfinder programs teach our oldest campers how to rig and sail these vessels.  We have been relying on a secondhand Boston Whaler and a 2005 SeaDoo jetski for on-the-water instruction and for rescues.  We have a pontoon boat on hand when necessary but it runs its own separate and independent programming.

A storm surge from a nor-easter this fall brought tide levels up over our docks, the high winds flipped our whaler, the dock pylons impaled the hull, and the motor was damaged.  We were already hoping to replace our 20 year-old jetski this year and have decided that a second jetski would be easier to care for and more financially responsible.  Having 2 jetskis means we will need an additional trailer and jetski rack for our dock.  About 3/4 of this project has been funded by our 2024 annual appeal but this last $6000 will help us cross the finish line and ensure a safe summer on the water.

Arrowhead is primarily an overnight/day camp for children entering 2nd -11th grade. Since 1955 Arrowhead, has served campers of all faiths and backgrounds with our truly unique decentralized camping program. Scholarships are available to any family able to demonstrate need. Our Retreat Season runs from mid-August through May with many day-trip and overnight options available.  We are also an equal opportunity employer.
