Fundraising Goal: $2,500
A fundraiser for: Delaware Association for the Education of Young Children (deaeyc)
Organization Mission:
The mission of the Delaware Association for the Education of Young Children (deaeyc) is to promote national standards for early care and education as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC); to provide and support opportunities for professional development; to advocate for children, families, and early care and education professionals; and to build community awareness and support for the early care and education profession.
Advocacy Day is essential for creating awareness regarding education, protection, and support for the developing child. It helps us move forward with policies and legislation around early education. It is a day to speak with legislators about the successes and challenges within the field.
The deaeyc Resource Center is available to the public and is free for members; it includes a lending library and spaces where educators and families can come for continuing education and trainings.
