The Delaware Regional Dream Center provides Hope to the Hurting and Help for Healing in our communities in Delaware.
About Delaware Regional Dream Center
Mission: The Delaware Regional Dream Center collaborates with state and local
nonprofits to provide community outreach to individuals by delivering
resources and coordinating services and/or referrals that fulfill life’s
necessities. We purposefully motivate those individuals to achieve a
more fulfilled standard of living as we create, develop, and implement
sustainable programs to address our community's needs.
Over the past four years, our Hunger Relief Program has 2,923 participants. Ninety-four percent, or 815 families, are identified as low-income, receiving assistance with annual gross revenues at or below $30,000. We infuse Hope into our Delaware community through mobile Box of Hope distributions at elementary schools and surrounding neighborhoods. As of April 2024, we have distributed over 41,000 Boxes of Hope and added a home delivery service covering a 7-mile radius from our headquarters.
Our second program, Restoring Hope Community Outreach, is focused on mental health, substance misuse, and opioid addiction counseling services. This two-tier program offers free and paid services to adults in our community.
• Tier One: Living Free can see up to forty participants to help address triggers and provide solutions to Living Free from addiction and life-controlling challenges.
• Tier Two: The Naaman Center is a fee-for-service intensive outpatient counseling office. The Dream Center has partnered with Adult/Teen Challenge to bring this to the Delaware community to combat the devastation of fentanyl and opioid addiction.
