I’m fundraising for Girls Inc. of Delaware.
I have been associated with girls inc since 2015. I was an employee there for 2 years then involved through fundraising, volunteering and attending events. I always told my husband that one day I would be back at Girls Inc as board member. It became a goal of mine. You know what they say speak your goals into existence.
Fast forward few years, I received an email from two board members I remembered fondly and respected. They asked if I was interested and I just asked where to sign!
It has always been about the transformation for me. Watching our staff and our members work together in action was my favorite thing to see and hear when working. I loved knowing our girls felt comfortable, safe and they were free to be themselves!
I am committed to the board, staff, our volunteers and most importantly our girls to do right by them.

About Girls Inc. of Delaware
Mission: Girls Incorporated of Delaware is a statewide nonprofit organization whose mission is, "inspiring all girls to be strong, smart, and bold."
The Girls Inc. Experience equips girls to navigate gender, economic and social barriers and grow into healthy, educated and independent adults. Our programs aim are designed to fulfill our mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Girls Inc. responds and adapts to the changing needs of girls and their communities. Girls who stay in our programs over time, are empowered to reach their full potential and to understand, value, and assert their rights. Our programs focuses on three areas:
