The Brandywiners Ltd is a Delaware nonprofit ARTS organization which has provided community entertainment through its 60+ person chorale and annual theatrical productions - since 1932.

As we reflect upon the past year since the 2025 DoMore24 event, we are proud of our many accomplishments and social cause initiatives that have had a positive impact on thousands throughout our community. Some of these included:

  • BRANDYWINERS CHORALE | Our chorale performed at many area community centers, Wilmington Blue Rocks, veteran's homes/events, hospitals, and other locations -- spreading good cheer to thousands.
  • SOMETHING ROTTEN | With our Main Stage Production at Longwood Gardens, we presented the popular (and hilarious) musical, SOMETHING ROTTEN, serving thousands of devoted patrons and friends of our organization.
  • BRANDYWINERS CARES | We continue to engage and motivate underserved populations with our free life skills programming through New Castle County. Kids, teens, and adults come together to learn the basics of writing a resume, participating in a job interview, public speaking, and more. Through this initiative, more than 250 participants have found new confidence to build upon their next "life" chapter. We are excited to expand this program in 2026.
  • UNIVERSITY OF DELAWARE PARTNERSHIP | We continue to digitize and archive every single Brandywiners photo and program in storage since 1932 in partnership with University of Delaware archivists (a massive project and undertaking, but one that will help preserve the impact of our nonprofit for generations to come).
  • HAGLEY MUSEUM PARTNERSHIP | We continue to partner with Hagley Museum to archive and preserve every Brandywiners photo and all pieces of memorabilia from 1932 to present.
  • RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF DELAWARE | The Brandywiners continues to come together to entertain families, volunteers, and donors at this endearing nonprofit during its annual SHARE A NIGHT house lighting ceremony. It's become an annual tradition for the Brandywiners, through its Brandywiners Cares initiative, to give back to the community through song, voice, and cheer.
  • BRANDYWINERS GRANTS TO SUPPORT STUDENTS IN THE ARTS | We revamped our grant program to offer 5, $1,000 grants to high school seniors pursuing a career in either the Vocal or Performing ARTS.
  • COMMUNITY CONCERTS | We presented two beautiful community concerts in 2025 - by our talented Chorale - in the Spring and Winter - in Wilmington, Delaware (with lots of in-person and virtual attendees).
  • ICE CREAM SOCIAL | Always building programming with our motto in mind... "All for Fun, and Fun for All " we held our fourth annual free community Ice Cream Social. Over the years, this event continues to grow. We invite all to join us in 2026.
  • FALL FEST | We held our annual free and spooktacular Halloween/Bonfire/Wagon Ride event at Ramseys Farm. This event brings together our Brandywiners family, friends, supporters, and more to celebrate our organization in a fun and fiery evening under the stars.
  •  ASSASSINS | In 2025, we were forced to pivot our original selection (RED HOT & COLE) for our Second Stage show due to a licensing hiccup, and instead, presented the controversial Sondheim production of ASSASSINS in the Presser Black Box at OperaDelaware. The Brandywiners Second Stage is designed, not only to help grow our programming, but allow our nonprofit arts organization to present shows that don’t always fit the “mold” of our annual Longwood Gardens production..

There's more, but for now, we need you to know that we cannot do all of this without YOU!

We promise that 2026 will be bigger and better as we  present our Brandywiners Main Stage production of BRIGADOON — our Second Stage show, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM — grow The Brandywiners Chorale to reach more audiences — expand our community programs and services.

On behalf of all our Board of Directors, Volunteers, and Participants, we thank you for your friendship, donations, and unwavering support.

Here’s to our 94th year of commUNITY ARTS in Delaware and the surrounding areas! These are just some of the reasons why we need you to #donate4ARTS.
