Organization Mission:
Delivering audiences exceptional performances that uplift the community.
Throughout this COVID setback, The Brandywiners organization was forced to cancel lots of events... experiencing zero revenues in 2020 and 2021.
The pandemic marches onward, but there is hope...
Hope that with spring upon us also comes new life. Flowers will bloom. Caterpillars will transform into beautiful butterflies. And that The Brandywiners will return to the stage to present WIZARD OF OZ this summer!
There is hope...
The Brandywiners Chorale has been back for months now rehearsing and performing publicly throughout Delaware.
There is hope...
Our volunteer committees have been meeting and strategizing for our triumphant return to the Longwood Gardens Open-Air Theatre.
There is hope...
2022 marks 90 years of quality entertainment from The Brandywiners Ltd.
The Brandywiners believes in hope. This is why we need you to #donate4ARTS.
For The Brandywiners ... ARTS = HOPE.
The Brandywiners has used this downtime to re-brand itself. From the design of a new logo to instituting new policies that will help sustain us for the next generation of theatre goers. We met (virtually) a lot to create a strategic plan that will further cement our place within Delaware ARTS (and beyond) over the next five years. We are excited about where we are and where we are headed. COVID is not going to stop us from providing engaging and robust ARTS. It never will! This is why we need you to #donate4ARTS.
The Brandywiners Ltd provides community entertainment through its 60+ person chorale and annual theatrical productions - since 1932.
The Chorale’s concerts are a favorite among many retirement communities and churches in the area. We have entertained at holiday and retirement parties at the Wilmington Country Club, the DuPont Country Club, the Newark Country Club, Delaware Art Museum, Hagley Soda House, Winterthur Museum and Garden, and the Chase Center on the Riverfront. The Chorale joined the Delaware Symphony for a pops concert at the Grand Opera House and has performed at Longwood Gardens at Christmas and the Smyrna Opera House. This is why we need you to #donate4ARTS.
The Brandywiners partners with Longwood Gardens to present a Broadway quality musical annually on its Open-Air Theatre. In addition, selections from our show are performed at places such as Bellevue Park, Rockwood Park, and community centers throughout Delaware.
This is why we need you to #donate4ARTS.
