Center for the Creative Arts (CCArts) strives to make the arts accessible to as many people as possible, because we believe that the arts are essential for human development and healing, academic success, and for enriching our culture as a whole. Every day our goal is to create and maintain programming for the community which is affordable and attainable, ultimately bridging the gap in accessible arts programming in the region.
We need your help! Tuition and fees only cover 60% of our funding needs. Your contribution is vital in ensuring that everyone has access to the arts and the benefits that go along with art making.
Your contribution allows us to continue:
- Serving 500+ school-aged children and seniors in the region with our teaching artist residencies.
- Offering Our “Art Together” low cost workshops for local families.
- Hosting programming for underserved populations, such as “Camp Arts for All in Sign” for children who are Deaf or hard of hearing.
-
Partnering with organizations like “Art Therapy Express”, which provides therapeutic arts programming for youth and adults who have intellectual, emotional, and physical disabilities.
- AND SO MUCH MORE!
This year,
friends of CCArts have committed to matching up to $4,500 in donations. So, every gift donated this year has the potential to be
DOUBLED.
We thank you in advance for supporting CCArts in our pursuit of ensuring that everyone in Delaware has access to art making opportunities.
We will be hosting an "arty party" to celebrate all the love and support our community has shared with us over the last year.
The event will be FREE and will take place at the CCArts campus on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 4-7PM. There will be a variety of art activities and some light refreshments. Come and connect with our staff and community of artists to gather, connect, and create.
