Go For The Gold
Organization Mission:
To promote literacy, learning, nutrition, and health by providing wholesome after school and summer enrichment activities for low income children of the community. Through no fault of their own these children live in poverty, yet they see all around them the wealth and dynamism of the growing resort area.
This fundraiser is important because we would like to keep our low-income children off the busy streets in West Rehoboth, and into our safe haven community center where they are receive mentoring, tutoring, help with homework, involved in structured educational programs, activities, educational field trips, balanced nutritious meals.
About West Side New Beginnings
The goal of the program is to provide a better and safer place after school and in the summer and to offer wider horizons for the children of West Rehoboth. We aim at giving the children a chance to succeed in the world outside West Rehoboth by empowering them with the education, experiences and resources they need.
