24 Hours. One Community. Endless Opportunities.
Organization Mission:
In its second century, Goldey-Beacom College reaffirms its commitment to the proud tradition of providing accessible, high-quality, career-focused education.
With the rising cost of living and increasing financial pressure on working adults and traditional-aged students alike, the need for scholarship assistance continues to grow. Many of our students balance coursework with full-time jobs and family responsibilities. Even a small financial shortfall can jeopardize their ability to stay enrolled.
Funds raised during Do More 24 Delaware 2026 will:
- Increase need-based scholarships for underserved and underrepresented students.
- Expand micro-grant support for students facing short-term financial emergencies.
- Strengthen retention efforts by providing targeted aid to juniors and seniors nearing graduation.
- Support workforce-aligned degree pathways that prepare graduates to contribute immediately to Delaware’s business and nonprofit sectors.
Every dollar raised helps us keep students on track to graduate with a meaningful, skill-driven degree that positions them to make a positive impact locally and beyond.
Why It Matters
Goldey-Beacom College has been serving students for more than 137 years and proudly celebrates over 50 years in Pike Creek. Throughout our history, we have graduated business leaders, counselors, accountants, HR professionals, IT specialists, entrepreneurs, and community advocates
Do More 24 funding directly fuels the next generation of these leaders.
When donors give during this 24-hour day of generosity, they are not just contributing to a college—they are investing in:
- Economic mobility
- Workforce development
- Community leadership
- Educational access
The impact is immediate, measurable, and life-changing.
Looking Ahead
Our vision for this year’s campaign is simple: remove financial barriers so students can focus on learning, growing, and graduating.
By rallying alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and community supporters around Do More 24 Delaware 2026, we aim to:
- Increase participation
- Grow scholarship dollars raised
- Expand awareness of how scholarships change lives in Delaware
When our community comes together in one powerful day of giving, we send a clear message to our students: You belong here. We believe in you. And we will help you succeed.
That is the true impact of Do More 24—and we are grateful for the opportunity to continue this work.
