Help us invest in the next generation of leaders!
Interfaith Community Housing of Delaware has been a leader in community building and youth development programming for decades. Through our place-based Youth Mentorship Program, we are committed to helping youth aged 9-18 develop the skills, confidence, and leadership abilities they need to succeed in their futures and strengthen their communities.
Our intensive one-on-one mentorship model doesn't just engage youth—it helps empower them.
The outcomes speak volumes:
- 98% program completion rate across all participants
- 86% of mentees demonstrate measurable improvements in academic performance
- Significant gains in confidence; decision-making skills; community engagement; and tobacco, alcohol, and substance abuse prevention education.
This year, we've been selected to send four exceptional mentees to the Community-Based, Advocacy-Focused, Data-Driven Coalition-Building Association (CADCA) Midyear Conference in Nashville (July 20-24, 2025) for the prestigious Youth Leadership Key Essentials Training. CADCA represents over 7,000 community coalitions dedicated to reducing drug use. This immersive experience will:
- Develop advanced public advocacy and policy influence capabilities
- Learn the latest strategies to fight substance abuse and misuse
- Build professional networking skills with national change-makers
- Provide certification in youth-led community organizing
- Implement evidence-based community interventions
Your Investment will help create generational change.
We're seeking $5,000 to ensure these young leaders can access this opportunity. Your contribution provides:
- Conference registration and specialized training materials
- Travel and accommodations for participants and chaperones
- Post-conference implementation funding for youth-designed community initiatives
- Ongoing mentorship to translate conference learning into sustainable impact
This is a pivotal moment in these young leaders’ development. When they return, they'll be equipped to share their knowledge with peers and create lasting change in their communities.
Partner with us to cultivate the next generation of Delaware's change-makers.
