Bring Hope to Our Vulnerable Neighbors – Support MAH’s Haven of Hope!

At Milford Advocacy for the Homeless (MAH), we are committed to providing food, shelter, and vital resources to individuals and families experiencing homelessness, as well as those struggling to keep their homes. Since November 2022, we have provided 49,797 meals—and we’re just getting started.

Every week, we serve dinner six nights a week, ensuring our neighbors have a hot meal and a place to gather. On weekends, we provide hot meals at our drop-in center and distribute Power Pak bags filled with nutritious food for those in need. Additionally, we deliver meals to transition houses, provide individual meals, and offer one-time Emergency Blessing Boxes stocked with ready-to-eat food for anyone facing hunger.

This Do More 24, your donation can be a lifeline for our neighbors—offering food, warmth, transportation, and hope.

This year, we are taking a monumental step forward with the Haven of Hope – Operations Center. This new space will allow us to expand our impact, providing a central hub where struggling individuals and families can access critical services, regain stability, and rebuild their lives. Your support will help make this vision a reality!

Together, we can turn hardship into hope. Please help us build a stronger, more compassionate community by donating today!

Who do we serve?
We stand with those experiencing homelessness, the displaced, and those teetering on the edge of losing their homes. In a community where affordable housing is scarce and rentals dominate the market, many of our neighbors—men and women of all ages (21-70) and diverse backgrounds—are being forced into homelessness due to skyrocketing rent increases or the sudden sale of their rental homes.

These individuals are not just statistics—they are hardworking people, many holding full-time jobs yet unable to afford a place to live. They find refuge in cars, tents, abandoned buildings, public restrooms, dumpsters, and open-air spaces. Each day is a battle to secure basic necessities like food, clothing, and access to laundry.

The weight of their circumstances takes a toll—not just financially, but emotionally and physically. Many struggle with overwhelming anxiety, health issues, and the absence of a support system. Without financial literacy or the ability to save, the cycle of homelessness becomes harder to break.

We serve not just to provide relief, but to restore dignity, hope, and the possibility of a stable future.
