At Milford Advocacy for the Homeless (MAH), our mission is to serve housed and unhoused neighbors in Delaware with dignity and respect, offering programs that inspire hope and create opportunities for a better future.

Since November 2022, Milford Advocacy for the Homeless (MAH) has served 49,797 hot meals to neighbors in need — but our impact goes far beyond food. We help people secure identification for employment, provide transportation to shelters, hospitals, jobs, and treatment, and connect neighbors to housing, recovery, and essential support before crisis becomes catastrophe.

Who We Serve
We stand with neighbors experiencing homelessness, those displaced, and those on the edge of losing their homes. In a community with scarce affordable housing, many hardworking adults — ages 21–70 — are forced into cars, tents, abandoned buildings, or public spaces.

These are not statistics. These are people struggling daily to secure food, clothing, and basic necessities, often while facing anxiety, health challenges, and no safety net.

At MAH, we serve not just to provide relief — we restore dignity, hope, and a path to stability.
About Milford Advocacy for the Homeless

From Harvest Hub and Bounty to Blessings, which fight food insecurity, to ID Assist, breaking barriers to employment, and Laundry of Love, providing clean clothes, MAH is making a difference. Programs like our Senior Membership Sponsorship Initiative improve mental health and social connections, while our FREE Community Events offer essential services to those in need.
