Mispillion Art League

To provide community-wide access to a quality visual arts program.

$5,495 raised from 54 donors

$10,000 goal

MAL is once again participating in this one-day, 24-hour amazing fundraising effort! Last year thanks to so many wonderful donations we were able to reach our goal!  We have set this year's goal at $10,000 again.  All of this is to support our mission of providing community-wide access to a quality visual arts program. We need your donations on March 7th 6pm -March 8th 6pm to reach, and maybe exceed our goal.

Being a small non-profit, we are eligible for a number of stretch dollar pools, making YOUR dollars go further.

There are more bonus prizes and hourly giveaways to come.  We are so excited and that is a lot of dollars available for non-profits all over the state!

So we need your help from 6pm-6pm on March 7–March 8! We can do this
together Delaware.

About Mispillion Art League

Mission: To provide community-wide access to a quality visual arts program.

MAL offers about 80 classes a year in a wide variety of mediums such as pastels, pottery, jewelry, stained glass, acrylic, oil, watercolor, etc. Classes are offered to students starting at age 5 and up, from beginners to advanced artists. We are always on the lookout for new class ideas to offer the community!

We also work with a number of other organizations to offer classes at no or low cost to their members. Among those is the veterans Home of the Brave I and II; Kent-Sussex Industries (KSI), a not for profit vocational rehabilitation organization whose mission is to assist people with disabilities in the pursuit of their potential in employment and meaningful participation in their communities; the Salvation Army Creative HeARTs Program for mentally-challenged adults; and English as a Second Language for middle school students in the Milford School District.

MAL wants to continue offering these workshops, our extensive educational programs, and add more art opportunities so that we continue to meet the needs of our expanding community.

In order to continue supporting our mission and forward growth, reliable funding is imperative. While we do apply for and receive grants, we cannot rely on their dwindling resources to keep the lights on and the rent paid. As a financially responsible organization, we continue to brainstorm and produce fundraising strategies, such as DoMore24Delaware. We believe in the power of art to heal and uplift individuals and entire communities and so we are asking that you be a part of our organization, the Mispillion Art League.
