The playground will be a fun, safe, accessible and free opportunity to connect the community, improve health and wellness, and support Wilmington’s youth.  Additionally, the playground will bar a platform for us to continue helping youth, teens and adults to build growth mindset, resilience, community, connection, social emotional skills and physical strength through our free classes, workshops, community days and mentorship opportunities. 

As we prepare to build our first NinjaFit Playground on April 27th in Wilmington DE, we also wanted to take this opportunity to honor the impact of Ninja coaches and athletes who are no longer with us. We are raising money to create memorial benches in honor of ninjas who have passed away: Noah Compton-Meyer, Fazana SI, Travis Rust, and Kevin Bogus.

The total cost for all benches is $2000 and each bench can be customized to reflect their names, and possibly even one of their favorite quotes. We are also aiming to raise an additional $2000 for the maintenence fund required by the Parks Department.
