Let The Art Tell The Story!
Quiet Paths: Expressive Arts for Reflection, Care, and Renewal is part of Nurses & Neighbors Collaborative’s ongoing Care & Caregiving initiative. Nurses & Neighbors works with older neighbors and family caregivers who are navigating complex health, aging, and caregiving responsibilities—often with limited time or space for their own reflection and renewal. Over time, our partners and community members have consistently emphasized the value of quiet, restorative experiences that allow them to pause, reflect, and reconnect outside of task-oriented or problem-solving settings.

Quiet Paths is a community-based expressive arts project designed to support caregivers and community members experiencing stress, grief, or life transitions through reflective, process-based artmaking. The funding from the 2026 DoMore24 event will help defray costs for supplies and facilitator's fees.

About Nurses & Neighbors

Mission: Nurses & Neighbors is a Delaware-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit of nurses and community members who work together to support the health and well-being of our neighborhoods.

Our work reflects what neighbors ask for and what nurses observe in the community. Examples include:
  • Sharing health information with neighborhood groups
  • Assisting at community vaccination clinic
  • Supporting caregiving, chronic disease prevention, mobility, and transportation access through nurse-led efforts
  • Collaborating with local and national partners to fill gaps in community health

Our most recent project is the Neighborhood Foot Care Patrol™. We bring foot screenings and foot hygiene education directly to vulnerable populations—especially older adults, unhoused individuals, and underserved neighbors.

Your support will help us continue to support our neighborhoods with nurse-led, neighbor-driven programs.
