Cutting-edge curriculum in STEM, Project Based Learning, Artificial Intelligence, and Design Thinking sets a solid foundation for exploration and experimentation at CSW. We share our campus with Cab Calloway School of the Arts and rent our building from the Red Clay Consolidated School District so space is very limited.

This space limitation means that we can’t offer best-in-class classrooms, learning spaces, and labs for our students.  It also means that we don’t have the flexibility to respond to a rapidly changing STEM environment.

CSW has 41 student spaces; 24 learning spaces are designated for innovation this year.
We only receive about 80% of the funding traditional public schools get along with operating money from the state of Delaware and school districts. The funds are allocated based on our unit count, the number of students we enroll each year. Under Delaware state law, charter schools do not qualify for public funding of capital expenses.

Your gift  will make a meaningful impact on our highest priorities which include:
  • Creating engaging experiences for our students by enhancing classroom and lab seating in all of our classroom and science labs
  • Reimagining unused spaces for innovative learning opportunities for our students in the form of specialized Makerspaces for Biology and Engineering.
