The Delaware Safety Council, established in 1919, is the cornerstone for safety information and training in the First State providing programming and training to businesses of all sizes.  As the workplace environment has changed, DSC continues provide current and competent training to workers to minimize lost time due to injuries and unsafe practices to fulfill OSHA requirements.  
DSC also works in the community offering Defensive Driving programs, Behavior Modification programs, First Aid/CPR/AED training and Babysitting Classes for Teens to promote confidence and safe practices. Delaware Safety Council is also proud to present the SmartDrive Program - safe and defensive driving skill and behavior development for new teen drivers.

Delaware Safety Council (DSC) was established in 1919 by DuPont Company President Irénée du Pont.  It was the first state safety council in the United States. The Delaware Safety Council is a private, non-governmental, nonprofit 501(c)(3) safety resource and training organization.
