DJ's Alliance - Support suicide loss survivors in Delaware

Organization Mission:

DJ's Alliance is a grassroots nonprofit organization offering heartfelt postvention support, resources and connections to help survivors of suicide loss find healing and hope in Delaware. We offer resources, peer to peer support and community connections because we understand that suicide postvention is suicide prevention.

Support suicide loss survivors in Delaware

Hello! DJ's Alliance was founded by suicide loss survivors to help others find a supportive community after such a loss here in Delaware. Even with a supportive community, many of us still felt lost sometimes, as did our family and friends. DJ's Alliance can help connect the gaps in postvention support in the First State.

In celebrating our first two years together, we can confidently say: SUPPORT IS HERE for loss survivors like many of us. Our Board is made up of fellow loss survivors and professionals with experience in mental health and social work causes. We have a dynamic team that has worked diligently to create unique peer-to-peer support for loss survivors, as well as community outreach opportunities statewide. DJ's Alliance also connects frequently with professionals in the prevention and loss space. Funds raised during Do More 24 Delaware will go directly to our programming and needed resources here in Delaware.

Programming highlight: In 2025, Governor Matt Meyer SIGNED HB 54, DJ's Act, into law establishing the state's Office of Suicide Prevention and adding postvention into Delaware code!
