Branches to Chances® (BTC) is Delaware Center for Horticulture’s innovative return-to-work program. Participants come from many backgrounds seeking our structured approach to gaining employment and exploring the opportunities available in the green industry. 2025 marks our 16th class with over 100 successful graduates to date!
By equipping participants with hands-on training in horticulture, landscaping, and urban forestry, our program creates pathways to rewarding employment while improving the environment and strengthening communities. We strive to provide a well-rounded education to prepare students not only for horticulture, but also job seeking and interpersonal relationships skills through the help of our network of industry partners.
For some participants, BTC can also help address economic and racial disparities through our hands-on support, coaching and counseling, and guidance to gain employment. Completing the program fosters a sense of purpose and belonging for those facing systemic barriers to success.
By supporting BTC through DoMore24, you can help provide life-changing opportunities for individuals striving for a green future. Class has just begun for this year’s 8 participants and your donation enables us to continue to offer this program and expand our partnerships and curriculum.
