The next "Stage" of The Listening Booth

Organization Mission:

We're Listening, A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in the beautiful Delaware beaches is committed to building up a musical community full of talented musicians and enthusiastic audiences and cultivating a once thriving original music scene in Southern Delaware by providing unique events, classes and workshops for musicians of all abilities and listeners of all genres. We believe in combatting the national loneliness epidemic through bringing people together in community to make music and lasting friendships. Offering opportunities for musicians and songwriters under our venue name, The Listening Booth, We’re Listening is bringing a whole new experience to the Delaware beaches.

Help Us Build the Stage That Builds Community

At The Listening Booth, everything starts on the stage.

It’s where first songs are shared, confidence grows, friendships form, and stories come to life. Over the past year, our small nonprofit music venue has hosted hundreds of concerts, classes, workshops, youth programs, and community gatherings — all centered around the power of live music and human connection.

Now, it’s time to build a stage that can support the future we’re creating together.

Our Goal: $10,000 in 24 Hours

For DoMore24 Delaware, we’re raising funds to build a new permanent stage designed specifically for listening-room performances, education programs, and community events. This upgrade will:
  • Improve sound and visibility for audiences
  • Create a safer, more professional performance space for artists
  • Support music education for youth and adults
  • Help us continue presenting original music in Southern Delaware
This isn’t just construction — it’s infrastructure for creativity, learning, and connection.

Why It Matters
A great stage doesn’t just elevate performers — it elevates community. It makes space for emerging artists, gives students a place to shine, and helps ensure that original music continues to thrive locally.

Every donation, large or small, helps build the platform where future songs, stories, and memories will happen.

Be Part of What Comes Next
If you’ve attended a show, taken a class, supported local music, or simply believe in the importance of community arts, this is your chance to help shape what happens next at The Listening Booth.

Together, we’re not just building a stage.
We’re building a place where people feel heard.
About We're Listening

We are committed to:
  • ORIGINAL MUSIC. We want to hear your story. We believe that telling your story through music is one of the greatest forms of self expression. We believe there is no better way to express your feelings and make connections with audiences than singing your own words and playing your own music.
  • SHARED AND TRANSFORMATIVE EXPERIENCES. Developing and promoting unique experiences that help people of all ages discover the arts, tap into their creative potential, and share their passions and talents with new audiences. We combat the loneliness epidemic plaguing our country by gathering in community to sing, play and share our songs to heal and move forward.
  • EDUCATION. Everyone can learn to play, sing, write and it is never too late to do so. Through our private lessons, group lesson, adult rock band camp, sing-a-longs, open mic nights, song circles, jam sessions and myriad other educational events we promote musical education in a fun and digestible manner. We believe it is never too late to start and never too late to start over. We believe in the healing power of music
