UP for Learning is a dynamic non-profit that supports educational systems and communities as they fully engage youth in reimagining and transforming education. UP provides coaching, facilitation, and training to youth-adult teams so that learning and leading are founded on equitable cross-generational relationships characterized by shared power, voice, and responsibility. UP for Learning advocates for policies to elevate student voice in learning and decision-making on the local, state and national level. We believe that educational equity is a human right, and that all young people deserve access to a meaningful and engaging education. Collective decision-making, between youth and adults, is the key to a sustainable, equitable and just future.

Although we do not have a physical office in Delaware, we are an organization that works throughout the country and have been growing our work in Delaware rapidly.  We are in our fifth year of a large project with the Brandywine School District and are also working on projects with the United Way of Delaware (statewide Black Student Union project) and the Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence (Sussex County).  The goals of these projects are to elevate and empower student voices in schools and communities. Funds received through this fundraising page will be used to support our Delaware projects and programming to ensure that we can continue to support youth leadership, youth voice, and education transformation in Delaware.
