Western Teens Program

A fundraiser for YMCA of Delaware

$440 raised from 8 donors

$5,000 goal

Here at Western Family YMCA, we strive to create fun and engaging teen programming! With the support of the community, currently we have our Teen Outreach, Dungeons and Dragons, Youth in Government (YIG), and Model United Nations (MUN). Our teen programs are more than just a fun place to be. YIG and MUN teach teens on how to become effective political leaders to shape our world. The Teen Outreach program is designed to encourage a healthy life style both physically and mentally. Dungeons and Dragons allows teens to develop their creativity and build team work skills. With your support we can not only keep these programs running but more importantly we can continue to make them accessible to every teen that walks through our doors.

About YMCA of Delaware

Mission: The YMCA of Delaware’s mission is to empower youth, foster healthy living, and promote strong communities. Our vision is a healthy, inclusive community where all people reach their full potential.

Established in 1889, the YMCA of Delaware serves more than 120,000 individuals annually at 7 full-facility locations, one urban youth development center, two outdoor recreation complexes, one overnight resident camp, and at over 40 statewide school partnership sites. We believe that we are stronger when our doors are open to all, allowing everyone the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive.

For over 130 years, our YMCA has worked to empower youth, foster healthy living and promote strong communities. Our work prevents chronic diseases like diabetes, combats educational equity by serving more than 30,000 young people, and enables all Delawareans access to life-changing programs. In 2023, we served 121,000 youth and adults across the state and provided over $4.2 million in financial support to ensure everyone had access to critical YMCA services.
