Organization Mission:
Wilmington Ballet/Academy of the Dance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing superior arts education to foster discipline, self actualization, and confidence for the enrichment of communities in the state of Delaware, and surrounding regional areas. Wilmington Ballet Academy of the Dance welcomes everyone regardless of training, race, age, gender or orientation.
* Provide our scholars attending out of state Summer Intensive programs in 2024 with tuition free funding support, transportation, and accommodations.
* Support our Arts For All Abilities initiatives and Fall 2024 5k Walk Run Roll at the Wilmington Riverfront, with the active goal to peak awareness, and aid in the development, and producing of more inclusive programs and performances for and featuring citizens of all abilities.
* Provide support that would allow us to facilitate an international cultural exchange of education and performances with a school of the arts in West Africa in our 2024 / 2025 season.
