Organization Mission:

Financial Literacy: Advocate. Educate. Mentor. YM101 is an all-volunteer organization that advocates for improving the financial literacy of high school and college-aged students, as well as adults in the workforce. Our programs, workshops, and one-on-one sessions empower individuals to take control of their finances, helping them build a solid financial foundation and providing a pathway to reach their short-term and long-term financial goals.

Delaware public school teachers are typically not compensated for training that takes place outside of contracted hours. As a result, attendance at optional—but essential—professional development opportunities is often limited. That’s where your support makes a direct difference.
One hundred percent of your contribution goes toward covering training-related costs for K–12 financial literacy educators. These funds provide incentives that make participation possible, including stipends, gift cards, and personal finance books. Donations may also help offset additional training expenses such as materials and event costs. At a minimum, YourMoney101 will provide a dollar-for-dollar match on all individual donations, ensuring your gift has immediate and measurable impact.

To date, YourMoney101 has awarded $48,000 in grants to support financial literacy teacher training in Delaware and has committed up to $25,000 in teacher training stipends for 2026.

Beyond advocacy, YourMoney101.org also delivers employer-sponsored financial wellness and mentoring services to companies with fewer than 250 employees—creating a win-win for both organizations and their teams.
