Bootless Stageworks is an ensemble company of skilled Emerging Artists committed to producing contemporary theater experiences that are stimulating, adventurous, challenging, immediate and present, in a trusting, respective and collaborative environment, for sharing with all.
The BIGGEST of THANKS to everyone who donated, and made it possible to not only reach our dollar goal, but surpass it twice. We can't express how much it truly means to Bootless and our Artists.
UPDATED 3/3 @ 3:30pm - Because the response to our fundraising efforts has been incredible, we've moved the goal line (again). We're now looking to secure 100 unique donations for a total of $1,750.
Every little bit helps. Every person making a donation of $5 or more counts towards the total number of donations received. The more donors, the larger the bonus reward from the Delaware Division of the Arts stretch pool. COVID-19 hit Bootless hard; but, we're tough and WE'RE BACK!!!! #DoMore24DE in an effort to boost our fundraising efforts to increase the pay rate of our fantastic Artists. [title of show] SUMMARY: Tony award nominated [title of show] follows very real friends Jeff and Hunter, the ‘nobodies in New York’ artistic duo, along with friends Sue, Heidi and Larry, on their journey to create a show stopping musical for a new musical theater festival. As the due date for submitting looms, they make a pact to write all the way up to the festival’s deadline and submit whatever they’ve written. What they write is, in fact, [title of show]. Witness the ups and downs they encounter while writing and performing their show at the festival all while learning lessons about themselves as people, friends and artists. If you’ve ever had a dream you’ve wanted to achieve, but have never had the time, patience, money or bravery to try and do it then this show is for you. At its heart [title of show] explores how relationships are tested when life changes.
