Organization Mission:

The Friends of the Harrington Public Library is a 501(c)3 organization. Its purpose is to promote and enhance library programs, services, and facilities. It is a volunteer organization, whose members share the belief that a strong public library is valuable asset to our local communities because it is an essential intellectual, cultural, educational, and recreational resource for our citizens, both old and young.

The Harrington Public Library offers snacks for children 18 and under to combat food insecurity in our area. The library spends a little over $200 a month feeding over 300 kids, and we want to ask our community to support us as we support our local children.
