The mission of The Candlelight Theatre is to continue the tradition of employing and educating artists by encouraging them to explore and hone their craft through the art of live theatre. Through the unique interaction of these artists with our audiences, we share a commitment to revitalize, inspire, and enrich the community we serve.

*Walk-On role includes one performance in ACT 1 of the Candlelight’s 2021 Christmas show. Participants will be able to sit in the theater to watch Act 2. Scheduling along with full details on the performance will be coordinated later.

Thursday, March 4th: 
6:00 PM Opening Night Quizzo with Dan Healy
  • We are looking for 25 donors to give at 6pm! Donate at 6pm to help us earn an extra $500 Bonus!!
  • 4 pairs of Comedy Tickets will be given away during Quizzo. Come play for your chance to win.
8:00 PM Board Matching Gift up to $750 
  • The Candlelight Board of Directors will match up to $750 for any donations received during this hour. 

Friday, March 5th
8:00 AM Two Raffle Drawings for 2021 Candlelight Season Passes
  • Donate at 8am to help us earn an extra $500 Bonus! 
  • Any donation of $20 or more given in this hour will earn you an entry into our Season Pass Raffle. 
  • Drawing will be at 10am and winners will be announced on Social Media
10:00 AM Candlelight Alumni Coffee Hour
  • The Candlelight Board of Directors will match up to $1,000 for any donations received during this hour.
4:00 PM Do More 24 Happy Hour
  • Have a Show Specialty Drink named after YOU!
    • Top 5 donors during this hour will win.
5:00 PM The Finale
  • Anonymous Matching Gift up to $1,000 for donations received during this final hour!

Candlelight’s Next Great Adventure!

For more than 50 years, The Candlelight Theatre has been welcoming and entertaining audiences in the quaint little barn in Ardentown, Delaware. In 2020, the world changed and like many businesses, Candlelight was forced to shut down. While the stage remained dark for much of 2020, the staff, board, and volunteers worked tirelessly to create a safe space to welcome back audiences once it is appropriate to do so. 
 
That time, we believe, is on the horizon and we cannot contain our excitement. As we approach this new chapter in our long history, we need your support to make sure we can open our doors to you with confidence and preparedness to face this new adventure.
 
Join us on March 4th and 5th and have your contribution go further than ever before. Along with the Do More 24 Delaware sponsors, such as United Way and Delaware Division of the Arts, Candlelight will be offering prizes and incentives. More details to come.
