Organization Mission:

Coastal Concerts enriches, inspires, and transforms our community through music by presenting live concerts by world-class musicians.

This coming year Coastal Concerts will be celebrating its 25th anniversary!  
 
Coastal Concerts, of Lewes, brings world class chamber music to the residents of southern Delaware and beyond. Our future is bright and we are excited to be planning our next quarter century. 

 As we embark on our next 25 years, we are embracing new and exciting goals. We will:
 
  • Continue to bring world class artists (e.g. Takacs Quartet, American String Quartet, Smetana Trio, David Russell) who are shaping the future of classical music
  •  Strengthen our outreach to the community through collaborations with organizations, businesses, schools, and local artists
  •  Increase student participation in our concerts, master classes, and school events
  • Build on our music scholarship program to help students launch careers in music
  • Increase the cultural diversity of our audience and attract younger adults interested in classical music.

Consonant with our vision and mission, we will continue to enrich, inspire and transform our community through music by encompassing rich traditions of the past while reflecting cultural diversity in the evolution of classical music.  

During Do More 24, all gifts will be matched thanks to a special fund established by the Delaware Division of the Arts and Do More 24 sponsors. Please support our efforts to "Keep the Music Playing" in Sussex County for another 25 years!
