In the hospitality industry, well being often takes a backseat to job demands. Long hours and job pressure can make it difficult to maintain a healthy work-life balance.  Our 2023 IRB approved survey  shows that financial constraints can be a significant barrier to hospitality workers seeking therapy.  Celebrate Wellness breaks down that financial barrier, and offers quick access to mental health professionals. 
 Celebrate Wellness is an emerging non profit focused on supporting better mental health for hospitality workers.  We provide education, connect individuals to resources and wellness experts, and offer financial assistance for professional mental health support.

Through our stories and the desire to improve the mental health and wellness of hospitality professionals, Celebrate Wellness provides mental health and wellness support, regardless of their ability to pay. Our aim is straightforward. To reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and wellness within hospitality, help hospitality employers recognize the benefits of good mental health, and continue the conversation so no one goes at this alone.
Since our launch at the beginning of 2023 we were able to pay for over 500 hours of professional therapy.  We shared vetted and helpful resources and connections with over 150 hospitality workers. 
We are developing a learning module that will be available to local hospitality leaders. This platform will provide tools on how to recognize signs of mental health struggle on their team, how and when to initiate what could be a difficult conversation, and the best resources available if that employee wants to seek help. 
Food and beverage service jobs account for 11% of Delaware's workforce, with over 50, 000 total working in restaurants.  Celebrate Wellness is driven to help these workers mentally thrive in a stigma free environment.
