STEM programs for underserved youth

Organization Mission:

To ignite a life-long passion for exploring, discovering, and valuing nature and science.

Inspire the next geneticist, researcher, or engineer.

How does a young mind go from a spark of interest to becoming a citizen scientist or working to help wildlife? What inspires someone to dedicate their career to developing life-saving  treatments or curing disease?

Often, it's their local museum. Their love of learning grew from a field trip, an experience in nature, or from working at a museum. But access to experiences like ours are limited for many. Thousands of young people come from households who can't afford field trips or extracurricular programming. With STEM jobs on the rise and a significant learning gap in the sciences for children from low-income households, these programs provide inspiration to help them in their school life, their social life, and their future careers.

Science belongs to everyone

Every dollar you give through Do More 24 will go directly to providing educational programming for underserved students. Our goal is to provide hands-on programming for four classrooms. With your support, we can make science available for every child, regardless of household income.
