To carry this out, activities include: producing plays on an annual schedule for presentation to subscribers and the general public; providing opportunities to participate in various phases of the theater and studying the various aspects of theater; experimenting with new plays and new techniques.

Chapel Street Players is going through a Revival!
A new theater is being built for CSP and we will be moving into this space by this summer. We have been engaged in a Capital Campaign that needs to raise at least $750,000 in order for us to outfit the auditorium with seating, lights, sound, etc. The Do More 24 Campaign is an important part of our Campaign as there is once again matching funds from the Delaware Division of the Arts (DDOA) via the Spur Foundation- which stretches the dollars you donate even further!
OUR SPECIAL OFFERS FOR THIS YEAR'S DO MORE 24! The magic number is 24!
As it is 2024 and this is Do More 24, for anyone who makes a donation of over $2,400.00, you will get an exclusive first look for two at the new theater during a hard-hat tour, and if that was not enough, you will also receive two free subscription to our inaugural 24-25 season!
Back from last year, we created a special where for various donation amounts one could earn a piece of the old theater (25 N. Chapel Street)- either an actual brick from the building, or a piece of the stage. We are happy to continue that program this year! Check out the YouTube video for more information.
Finally, for any donation of $1000 , you are entitled to have a plaque on two seats (one on each seat) that can have your name, in memory of, family name, company, etc.
