We know that access to legal representation regarding financial matters is crucial to success.  Whether we represent a client with a tax issue through the Low Income Tax Clinic, or untangle a property title to make sure an owner doesn't lose her home in a foreclosure proceeding, DCRAC Law provides free and low-cost representation throughout Delaware.

We proudly work with community members to match our services to their needs, ensuring everyone who walks through our doors has the necessary services, resources, and knowledge to access credit, capital, and legal support. In Delaware, we’re also the only group making sure the big banks that our state economy is built around give back to the community—and we’ve been doing that since 1987.

Our DO MORE 24 fundraising goal is $5,000 to cover costs associated with legal representation of our clients. 

This year, we worked with a family facing foreclosure on the home the inherited from their mom. We were able to get through probate challenges and file a new deed so they could modify the mortgage and keep the home.  

We also worked with a taxpayer who received a letter from the IRS about a tax debt, and came to learn that she was a victim of identity theft. We were able to successfully clear her from the liability.

We've helped families resolve title issues to keep their homes, prepared estate planning documents during critical times in our clients' lives and resolved thousands of dollars of tax debts on behalf of our clients.
