Organization Mission:

The mission of the Delaware Association for the Education of Young Children (deaeyc) is to promote national standards for early care and education as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC); to provide and support opportunities for professional development; to advocate for children, families, and early care and education professionals; and to build community awareness and support for the early care and education profession.

The Delaware Association for the Education of Young Children (deaeyc) is Delaware’s professional membership organization and the unified voice for early childhood educators and providers. As an affiliate of NAEYC, deaeyc connects practice, policy, and research to strengthen early learning (birth through age 8). Your support fuels our work to protect children’s safety in early care and education, modernize and improve regulations, support providers with resources and guidance, and increase affordability for families—so every child in Delaware can thrive.
