Delaware Children's Theatre
Organization Mission:
Delaware Children's Theatre (DCT) has been providing exceptional and affordable live family entertainment, performance opportunities and cultural enrichment in our community for over 50 years. We strive to preserve the tradition of family theatre started by our founder, Marie Swajeski, while also finding and developing fresh titles to share with our audience. Our overarching goal is to bring the magic of live music and theatre to children and families in the community, and to be a vibrant and relevant source of family-friendly arts engagement.
We are the only non-profit theatre in the Wilmington area devoted solely to bringing classic and original musical productions to children and families. Maintaining an historic building and keeping ticket prices affordable for families is a challenge. Please help support live musical theater for children (who may be seeing a it for the very first time)!
We hope to continue bringing theatre magic for generations to come. If you‘ve been in a musical at DCT during our 50 years, brought your children to see one, or simply believe in our mission, please donate!
