Every day, the Jewish Federation of Delaware supports programs that feed, clothe, shelter, counsel, and rescue thousands of people worldwide. We deliver critical aid to vulnerable populations—the elderly, the disabled, at-risk children, and impoverished families—during times of peace and times of conflict. We also provide opportunities to educate, inspire, and celebrate a vibrant Jewish life.
Since October 7, 2023—the bloodiest day in Israel's history—the global Jewish community has faced an alarming surge in antisemitic activity, reaching levels unprecedented in recent years.
The Jewish Community Relations Committee (JCRC) serves as the public affairs arm of the Jewish Federation of Delaware, advocating for Israel and fostering strong relationships with government leaders and the media. In response to the ongoing war in Israel, JCRC has brought educational programming and speakers from Israel to our community via Zoom, ensuring we stay informed and engaged. Additionally, JCRC actively participates in programs and coalitions that promote interfaith and intercultural understanding. It has also taken action to address antisemitic incidents reported in local schools.
If you would like to see more programs combating antisemitism, please consider making a donation. Together, we can make a difference.
