Organization Mission:

Elevate Vocal Arts creates career pathways for individuals to shape and seize their futures and to serve communities. We envision a world where the vocal arts give voice to the voiceless, hope to the hopeless, and opportunity to the overlooked.

Founded in Delaware, Elevate Vocal Arts (EVA) expands access, equity, and professional opportunity in the vocal arts for youth and emerging artists from historically marginalized communities.

Through a continuum of opportunity, EVA meets individuals where they are and walks with them toward where they can go.

We plant seeds through school-based residencies and honor choirs, placing professional teaching artists in under-resourced schools and introducing students to high-quality, culturally responsive vocal instruction.

We nurture the future workforce through programs like the Summer Institute for Vocal Arts Apprentices, webinars, conferences, and career pathways that equip emerging vocalists and educators with artistic training, career readiness, and real-world professional skills. Apprentices receive stipends to remove financial barriers and ensure access.

We harvest through Elevation, Delaware’s only all-professional, intentionally diverse vocal ensemble. bringing powerful, genre-blending performances to stages and communities while mentoring the next generation.

Together, these programs expand opportunity from the classroom to the concert hall, ensuring that talent, not circumstance, determines who gets to thrive.
