Help Family Promise of Southern Delaware prevent families from becoming homeless!
Your donations in previous years have helped over 30 families avoid becoming homeless. Our Prevention Program funds helped families with rental/utility arrearages and for moving in expenses.
For 2023, we are looking to continue to tackle the needs here in Sussex County. We seek to have the funds to support transitional/bridge housing as well as funds to support a family advocate staffer to interact with the families, to help them get re-established on their own.
We also look to strengthen our relationships with the school districts in Sussex County, building upon our success with Cape Henlopen, Seaford, and Indian River.
