Organization Mission:

First State Robotics, Inc. (FSR) nurtures programs in the greater Delaware area that inspire, motivate, and educate K-12 grade youth through robotics-based challenges and encourages them to consider pursuing careers in STEAM fields. We envision young people who are inspired and motivated to pursue STEAM careers as confident, self-reliant, responsible citizens poised to make a real difference in the world.

First State Robotics, Inc. (FSR) empowers K–12 students across the greater Delaware area through hands-on robotics programs that inspire curiosity, build technical skills, and prepare young people for STEM careers.

Since 2003, we have helped students design, build, and compete — transforming classroom learning into real-world innovation.

A Critical Need: Our Workspace

FSR recently lost access to our long-time robotics workspace. To continue serving our teams, we will most likely need to secure rental space — increasing annual operating expenses by up to $20,000 per year.

This unexpected cost creates a significant funding gap. Without additional annual support, it will become harder to:

  • Keep programs affordable for families
  • Maintain tools and equipment
  • Host official Delaware competitions
  • Expand access to new schools and communities
