$1,000 goal
You can donate starting on March 5, 2026 at 6:00 pm
Support the Friends of the Hockessin Library (FOHL) and its mission to support the Hockessin Library and its communities. Thanks to your help, we met our goal of $750 in 2025. Now we are asking for you to help us meet this year's goal of $1000. All monies raised will help us by new furniture, specifically study carrels, for the library.
These study carrels get a lot of use. Help us purchase new ones for the Hockessin Library.
In 2025, FOHL used the money from Do More 24 to help buy a rug and new couches for the children's room.
The new couch and rug in the children's room, on the left. What an improvement from the old couch, on the right.
Our goal for 2026 is to create a fund to buy furniture for the adult section of the library, starting with the study carrels. Please help us by donating! No amount is too small.
The Friends of the Hockessin Library hold member drives. Join us (https://friendsofthehockessinlibrary.org/joinus.shtml), and support the library.
This library is a vital resource for our community!
Have you ever looked up at the ceiling in the library? Check out the view next time you are there.
In addition to providing books, magazines, CDs, and DVDs for you to borrow, the Hockessin Library has book clubs for all ages, arts and crafts classes, music performances, meeting and study rooms, computers, and 3D printers. And don't forget the Library of Things with objects as diverse as telescopes and puzzles.
What a view of the library from the reading garden. The reading garden is maintained by the Friends of the Hockessin Library.
The Hockessin Library offers us so much. Help the Friends of the Hockessin Library keep supporting the library. Donate!
