Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware

Organization Mission:

The Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware believes everyone deserves a place to call home — close to where they work, learn, play, and worship, at a price their paycheck can actually support. We partner with working veterans and families across Delaware to create safe, permanent, attainable homes. Not shelters. Not temporary fixes. Real homes that last. Because when housing is stable, everything else has a chance to fall into place — health improves, jobs are more secure, kids thrive in school, and communities grow stronger. Our work is built on responsibility, dignity, and doing things right. We take the time to plan carefully, build partnerships thoughtfully, and act when we're ready — so that the solutions we create truly hold up over time. This DoMore24 Delaware, your gift helps make that possible. Every dollar supports the groundwork behind permanent housing — the planning, coordination, and community-building that turns good intentions into real homes for real people.

Small Actions. Stable Homes. Stronger Communities.

At the Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware, we focus on permanent, attainable housing for working veterans and families — not shelters or temporary fixes — because stable housing is how people and communities truly thrive.
Housing stability affects everything: health, employment, education, and peace of mind. When housing is uncertain, even small setbacks can become life-altering. Our work is designed to address that reality with intention, responsibility, and long-term impact.

Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware

At the Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware, we believe a safe, stable home isn't a luxury — it's the foundation everything else is built on.

We work with working veterans and families across Delaware to create simple, decent tiny and small homes, accessory dwelling units, and smart, scalable solutions that make housing more available and more affordable. Not shelters. Not stopgaps. Permanent homes that last.

Because when housing is unstable, everything else gets harder. Health suffers. Jobs are at risk. Kids struggle in school. Stress becomes constant. And here in Delaware, too many working households are just one unexpected expense away from a crisis.

Our work is about stepping in before that happens — responsibly, practically, and built to last.

About Us

Across Delaware, there are veterans and working families doing everything right — showing up to work, caring for their kids, contributing to their communities — and still living one setback away from losing their footing.

That's not okay. And it's not inevitable.

The Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware exists to change that. We do the planning, build the partnerships, and lay the groundwork that real, lasting housing solutions actually require. This isn't fast work — but it's the kind of work that holds up. Our approach is intentional, values-driven, and rooted in a simple belief: housing should lift people up, not keep them stuck in survival mode.

Our Focus

We focus on permanent, attainable housing for working veterans and families — homes that support stability, independence, and long-term well-being, near where people work, learn, play, and worship, at a price their salary can support.

We're deliberate about how we do this work. The planning, coordination, and partnerships that permanent housing requires take time — and we're committed to doing it right, because the people we serve deserve more than a short-term fix.

Why DoMore24 Matters

DoMore24 Delaware is one of the most important days of the year for us — and for the families and veterans who need what we do. We have households waiting for repairs, but responsible housing work requires planning, materials, and funding in place before we act.

Your gift on March 5–6 helps power the behind-the-scenes work that makes permanent housing possible: the organizational strength, the coordination, the readiness that allows us to move responsibly when opportunities arise. This is how lasting housing solutions get built — not in a rush, but with preparation, integrity, and the right foundation in place.

Every dollar goes further during DoMore24 thanks to matching gifts from sponsors across the state. So if you've ever thought about supporting this work, now is the time.

Your Impact

The work you fund may not always make headlines — but it's what makes everything else possible.

Your support ensures that when we take the next step, it's grounded, responsible, and built for the long haul. These are investments in foundations — literal and figurative — and they're the reason permanent housing works.

How You Can Get Involved

We're a small, community-driven organization, and we rely on people who believe in doing housing the right way. Here's how you can be part of it:

Give. Your financial gift is a community investment. It supports the planning and preparation required to deliver real, permanent housing solutions. We also gladly welcome in-kind donations of building materials, services, and food for our volunteers.

Spread the Word. Share our mission, connect us with potential partners, and help shift the conversation toward long-term housing solutions.

Volunteer. Join one of our upcoming builds happening across Delaware. Faith communities and churches are especially welcome — this work aligns deeply with a housing ministry. We also need help growing our Board of Directors and supporting day-to-day operations.

Stay Connected. Follow our work and share our story. Momentum matters, and every person who knows about what we're doing helps move it forward.

💙 Your investment makes an impact.

Thank you for learning about the Fuller Center for Housing of Delaware. Your support matters more than you know — and together, we can do this work the right way.
