The purpose of People to People is to enhance international understanding and friendship through educational, cultural and humanitarian activities involving the exchange of ideas and experiences directly among peoples of different countries and diverse cultures.
People to People Delaware is raising money through Do More 24 Delaware to support refugees from Afghanistan, Ukraine, and other parts of the world who are starting a new life in Delaware. Donations received through this campaign will be sent to RISE, the Refugee Integration Support Effort of Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Delaware.
People to People Delaware is raising money through Do More 24 Delaware to support refugees from Afghanistan, Ukraine, and other parts of the world who are starting a new life in Delaware. Donations received through this campaign will be sent to RISE, the Refugee Integration Support Effort of Jewish Family Services (JFS) of Delaware.
JFS is a refugee resettlement agency in the state of Delaware and has a long history of resettling and reuniting families, providing critical case management and counseling services, and engaging community members in the refugee experience through education, volunteerism, and advocacy. JFS helps refugees integrate and make a home in their community, obtain and retain employment, and establish and maintain healthy lifestyles.
Donations to this fundraising effort will be used to meet refugees' basic needs for food, clothing, housing, translation services, transportation, and education.
Please help us support these refugees who have left their homes seeking safety and a new and better life in Delaware.
