Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County Do More 24 Delaware 2025 Do More 24 Delaware 2025

Organization Mission:

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. We envision a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

At Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County, we are committed to changing lives and landscapes by revitalizing neighborhoods and empowering the families we serve.

Your support has allowed us to help over 600 families in New Castle County last year. This includes providing decent, affordable housing, listening to your community needs to make your neighborhood safer, and helping to ease the burden of major repairs needed in qualifying homes.

We can proudly celebrate the fact that:
  • 88% of Habitat homeowners no longer need government assistance
  • 67% of children in a Habitat home have improved at least one letter grade in school.

Check out the video below from our latest ground-breaking and wall-raising ceremony of two of our newest properties.  One of these properties will become the future home of prospective homeowner, Kenya Newton.
