Organization Mission:

We assist the people of our community by providing high-quality services that promote dignity, empowerment, independence, safety, self-esteem, and self-sufficiency. People's Place identifies the social/mental health needs of Delaware residents and facilitates the provision of services to address those needs.

I’m Lisa Obermire.

I’m fundraising for People's Place.

As an employee of People's Place, I know firsthand all the life-changing work and support that this organization provides individuals in our community. As I became more familiar with all its services and programs it was clear that People's Place is an extraordinary agency that supports a multitude of issues that Delawareans face more and more each day. 

Using my personal skills and abilities as the Public Relations and Events Coordinator allows me to help my local nonprofit and my surrounding community. It is powerful to know that I am helping others through the work that I do each day. 

I invite you to feel the rewarding feeling that comes from helping others.
