I’m fundraising for TeenSHARP, Inc..

TeenSharp is an organization that works with underserved community to ensure success with the students academically to allow them to enter top universities in our country. Their vision is that one day, those who occupy our nation’s highly-skilled jobs and most influential positions will reflect the rich diversity of the nation itself. In service of that vision, we prepare scholars to attend, thrive at, and graduate (with little or no debt) from top colleges. At these schools, our alumni access the social capital, academic rigor, and intellectual development they deserve—and which they can leverage to become community-minded change-makers on the path to fulfilling their highest potential.

About TeenSHARP, Inc.

Mission: Building a diverse pipeline of leaders, one top college admission at a time

Founded in 2009, TeenSHARP is a dynamic learning community that empowers Black, Latino, and low-income students across the Delaware Valley. By using top college admissions as a catalyst for change, we are reshaping the landscape of leadership in America.

What started with just 10 students in a church basement has grown into a movement, reaching hundreds of students through our transformative virtual programs. Over the past 16 years, more than 700 TeenSHARP scholars have gained admission to top institutions like Yale, MIT, Princeton, Cornell, Columbia, Penn, Vanderbilt, Macalester, Pomona, Northeastern, and Swarthmore.

Our impact goes beyond college acceptance—TeenSHARP alumni graduate on time, with minimal debt. Nearly all complete college within four years (all within six), and on average, they leave with $15,000 or less in student loans—a fraction of the national average.

At TeenSHARP, we don’t just help students get in—we prepare them to lead and thrive.
