Show Your Support for Women Building Better Communities
Organization Mission:
The Junior League of Wilmington is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training.
Since 1918, the Junior League of Wilmington has been dedicated to building better communities. We have an incredible legacy that includes helping found the Delaware Adolescent Program, Inc. (DAPI), lobbying for the Foster Care Review Act, founding the Wilmington Senior Center (next door to our headquarters), and spearheading the passage of Erin's Law in Delaware and other states.
With your help, we can continue to do more and push our Mission forward.
Your contribution enables us to roll up our sleeves literally and figuratively. Everything we do - distributing menstrual hygiene supplies, cleaning community gardens, baking cookies for elder care residents, or lobbying in Dover - is enabled by your generosity and support of our mission.
No matter the donation, you will help us continue to serve our community.
About Junior League of Wilmington
Our current initiative is Stand Up. Period. which addresses period poverty and removing barriers that prevent people from participating fully in their lives due to their menstrual cycle. With your help, we can continue to provide safe and free supplies to those in our community while breaking down the stigma of menstruation. Since 2019, the Junior League of Wilmington has distributed over 250,000 period supplies to the community through our period supply banking program.
