I’m fundraising for United Way of Delaware (UWDE).

This year, as we celebrate the extraordinary 25-year journey of Dr. Michelle Taylor’s leadership at United Way of Delaware, I find myself deeply moved by the remarkable strides we’ve made together as a community. Michelle’s unwavering dedication, paired with the incredible generosity of supporters like you, has turned countless challenges into powerful opportunities for thousands of neighbors across Delaware and Salem County, NJ.

Michelle’s incredible milestone is a testament to the fact that real, lasting change doesn’t occur overnight. It’s the ripple effect of countless small acts of kindness and compassion, fueled by people like you, that transforms lives. Every dollar you contribute is a beacon of hope—a light guiding a child toward literacy, offering stability to a family teetering on the edge, and extending a lifeline to a neighbor in need.
But as much as we’ve achieved, the work is far from over. Too many children still struggle to read at grade level. Too many families are just one setback away from financial crisis. And far too many individuals face moments of despair, longing for someone to reach out and offer support.

As we honor Michelle’s tremendous 25 years of service, we are inviting you to stand alongside us and make a lasting impact. We ask you to consider giving a gift of $25 today to help continue the legacy of compassion and leadership she’s built over the last two decades.

Every gift plays a vital role in building on Michelle’s vision. Together, we can bring us one step closer to a community where everyone has the chance to thrive, and no one is left behind.

About United Way of Delaware (UWDE)

Mission: At United Way of Delaware, we're answering the call to help our community thrive. We're working to ensure kids can read on grade level by third grade, support career and college success for youth, connect families to vital resources through Delaware 211, and empower individuals with the tools they need to achieve financial stability. It’s about creating lasting change that lifts up everyone, not just offering temporary fixes.

When you give to United Way of Delaware you are helping children and families. Whether it's a kindergartner who lacks the resources to learn remotely, or a family calling 2-1-1 seeking immediate shelter, United Way of Delaware has initiatives in the community that make an impact in the lives of real people.
