I’m Emily Margevich.

I’m fundraising for OperaDelaware.

OperaDelaware is leading the charge for artist empowerment! Join us in supporting the revolutionary Company Artist Model by making your pledge today!

With your help, we are revolutionizing the way artists are supported in the performing arts industry. On March 6-7, during Do More 24 Delaware, we’re asking for your support to help fund the Company Artist Model—a first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at transforming the “starving artist” stereotype into one of empowerment, stability, and creative fulfillment.

As a personal thank you for your donation, please follow this link to watch my Great American Songbook Concert from the OperaDelaware Studios: https://youtube.com/live/hRXfoZ4tzLg

Thanks to OperaDelaware, I am able to create and perform wonderful recitals! Thanks to your generous donations, I will be able to continue sharing performances at OperaDelaware! By helping OperaDelaware, you are truly changing my life. My fiance, Dylan Gregg, is also a singer- and we would love to be able to make OperaDelaware our home company.

This is only the beginning, and I am so proud to be included in such an important and powerful movement of supporting artists! I am so passionate about outreach, music education for children, and connecting all generations through live entertainment.

Your help will make a difference in how OperaDelaware can uplift our community! Thank you for caring about us!

About OperaDelaware

Mission: OperaDelaware produces bold, vibrant, and creative performances that empower artists, enrich the community, entertain audiences, and encourage curiosity.

Do More 24 = DO THE MOST 2025!

OperaDelaware is thrilled to invite you to join us in revolutionizing the way artists are supported in the performing arts industry. On March 6-7, during Do More 24 Delaware, we’re asking for your support to help fund the Company Artist Model—a first-of-its-kind initiative aimed at transforming the “starving artist” stereotype into one of empowerment, stability, and creative fulfillment.

This innovative program is designed to make Delaware a cultural hub, offering artists full-time employment with salary, benefits, and meaningful roles beyond the stage. By recognizing and leveraging the unique skill sets of artists—including creativity, passion, and adaptability—we are redefining what it means to work in the arts while fortifying our company’s operational strength.

Our Company Artist Model has received impressive recognition both regionally and nationally. OperaDelaware was one of three finalists in the Pete du Pont Freedom Foundation’s 2024 Reinventing Delaware competition with the Company Artist Model. This achievement highlights the urgency of addressing the employment struggles of professional artists, with over 95% of them working outside their discipline due to the unstable nature of the freelance economy. Together, we can lead the way toward a brighter, more sustainable future for artists in the United States.

Your donation during Do More 24 Delaware will help OperaDelaware take the next step in ensuring this visionary program has a long-term impact on the First State—one that not only empowers our artists but also strengthens our entire community. Every gift brings us closer to becoming a national model for the arts sector, showcasing Delaware as a beacon of creativity and innovation.

Join us today in transforming the future of opera and the arts. Your generosity can make history.
Donate March 6-7, and help us build a stronger, more vibrant artistic community in Delaware. Together, we’ll do more for the arts!
