Organization Mission:

The mission of KSI is to create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to learn and grow. Through training, education and supportive programs and services, we enable individuals to accomplish their personal and work-related goals.

This Do More 24, we’re raising money to upgrade our participant game and activity room—a space that means so much more than just games. It’s where fun meets growth—and where memories are made every day.

Our game and activity room is a place where participants spend meaningful time with peers, relax and recharge, build friendships, and practice teamwork, confidence, and healthy competition.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we already have some amazing equipment, such as a pool table, pinball machine, Hot Shot basketball game, and other fun and engaging activities. We are deeply thankful to everyone who has donated items and supported this space over the past two years. Your kindness has helped create something truly special.

Through the games and activities, we’ve seen incredible teamwork, encouragement between peers, a strong spirit of friendly competition, and participants working together toward shared goals. These moments are powerful—and they matter.

We’re proud to partner with Special Olympics Delaware to bring the competitive spirit into our programs. Currently, our participants are actively involved in basketball activities, and we hope to expand into bocce and other sports in the future. These opportunities help promote: Physical activity, confidence and self-esteem, inclusion and belonging, and leadership and sportsmanship.

Why We Need Your Support
Some of our equipment is aging, and the space itself needs updates to keep it safe, accessible, and exciting. With your help, we can:
  • Repair and refresh existing equipment
  • Add new games and activities
  • Improve the overall layout and accessibility

An upgraded recreation area means more games, more connection, and higher-quality outcomes for everyone who uses it.
