I'm starting out this year's Do More 24 event with a big, deep breath. Go ahead, take one with me.
Every day we are waking up to a new atrocity, a new way of accosting the humanity of our most vulnerable neighbors, and a new way to violate our rights as a nation built on Democracy and Freedom. We are all tired - but now is not the time to let up.
The 24-hour non-profit fundraiser, Do More 24, began in Delaware in 2016 and I have been here since day one. But after a decade of one-day fundraising, this year I am stepping up my game.
I'm starting out this year's Do More 24 event with a big, deep breath. Go ahead, take one with me.

I invite you to join me with a generous gift of your own and I will match up to $500 in gifts made to my personal Do More 24 fundraising page. Then the ACLU-DE board will match you AGAIN resulting in a triple - gift!!!
No gift is too small, and in fact, many small gifts throughout the 24 hour period are even better with each hour presenting the ability to win bonus prizes!
So, give early, give often, and join me in raising funds to support:
- The protection of our right to vote
- Reforms to our justice system and policing
- The destigmatizing of criminal records and their impact on job, home, and food security
- Access to gender affirming healthcare and abortion
- Life without fear of predatory deportation
- Access to a high-quality education accompanied with restorative justice discipline practices
- Speaking out when our rights are undermined or attacked
- The right to protest
- And ultimately, to save the soul of our nation that is pinned under the thumb of willful tyranny.
